Read in textbook "All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace" p. 543- log your reading on your poetry reading log and add to Poetry Graphic Organizer (with notes!) and discuss poem at your table.  What are the "machines of loving grace"... are they really loveing?

You will have 45 minutes to complete this timed essay.

Read "Women" p. 556 in Elements of Lit.  Add to your poetry log . Discuss the poem at your table.  What kind of women are being takled about in the poem?  Were they "strong" women? What in the poem suggests that? What did they do for their kids?
