Learning Progressions: Show students skills sequenced by complexity. We are required to making learning progressions or scales for each learning goal or unit of instruction. Below are sample scales we will use for routine learning events in our classroom. This is the fourth year we have used such scales in Orange County Public Schools. Students in my classes paste learning progressions into their academic journals and use them to reflect on learning.
